I'm quite surprised I've maintained a blog for so long. Alright, so went to Cheryl's place which is all the way in Choa Chu Kang to do the stupid lit project!! Its like damn far from my house. So, left my place at around 12.50 and got there about 1.30-ish. There, I found Nadia terrorising Jilling with her new phone which has an absolutely AWESOME camera. Nadia had taken like 5 weird pics of Jillian and was intent on taking more (:
Took a bus and got to Cheryl place and found that she was still at the Catholic Centre cause she had just finished a church camp thingy. So, while waiting for her to get home, we (Huda,Jillian,Nadia and me) hung around at the park near her house. We absolutely ADORE the park near her place. There's this fitness place for old people and its damn fun. We waited AGES for her and then we got so fed up and went to this little shop near the park. We bought munchies and drinks cause we were getting heatstroke. FINALLY, Cheryl got back home and she looked dead tired so we all made her stay at home while we went back to the park and dug for mud for the project.
Haha..making the model was super-fun!!!! We were like squishing the mud between our fingers and modelling it into the mud-people's houses. The mud totally looked like shit and we were complaining but enjoying it at the same time. Eventually, we ran out of mud and we made Jillian go to the park and get more mud. Oh and let me explain exactly how we got the mud. We had this cute plastic shovel (you know, the kind you take to the beach, the colourful ones) and then we need to find a spot. After that, we pour water on the carefully-chosen spot and we dig up the mud. It seriously looks like shit. We were all majorly grossed out.
Yes, now we come to the best part of the afternoon. THE MUD FIGHT! Its started off with just me and Nadia throwing around mud balls. But before we formed our shapes for the model, we had to drench it in starch or "GaoGao" as Nadia called it. The mud looked like shit and the "GaoGao' looked like snot!! Interesting combination ain't it? So then our hands were slimy AND muddy. So, Nadia rubbed her hands on Jillian's legs and arms and soon, it "mutated" into a fully-fledged fight with lots of muddy limbs. The only one who wasn't "soiled" was Huda. Cheryl's kitchen was a total disaster after that and after we finished our project we helped her clean up. Like REALLY clean up. We're really nice people (aren't we?) XD
